The Team

The studio was founded in 2003 by lifelong friends Ed Godrich and Rupert Hunt. Over more than two decades, the duo completed many projects together until 2021, when Ed chose to further explore a lifelong interest in fine art.

Today, Rupert leads the studio alongside fellow directors Megan Oliver and Sarah Coetzee. The studio continues to be recognised for its distinctive and highly personal approach to design.

Megan, has been an integral part of Godrich since 2009, leading numerous local and international projects. Her clients return to Godrich time and time again for her bold aesthetic style and creative design solutions. Her exceptional eye for detail and strong relationships with trades and suppliers ensure a smooth and enjoyable process for all involved. Megan’s respect for architecture, coupled with her instinctive flair for pattern and colour, means that every project is individually tailored to each client.

Sarah, joined Godrich in 2013, bolstering the team with experience across all aspects of the design process. Her highly bespoke and memorable projects are achieved through a skilful balance of creative design aesthetics and exceptional project management. Each project is undertaken with strong design integrity and a passion to deliver something unique and distinctive that consistently exceeds client expectations.
