The Team

  • Ed Godrich, Creative Director

    Ed Godrich, Creative Director

Ed founded Godrich Interiors in 2003 with his friend of 30 years, Rupert Hunt. He is the driving force behind each concept, finding the unfindable and inspiring the tight-knit design team with whom he works closely.

Ed studied Architecture for a year before transferring to a degree in Interior Architecture at Nottingham Trent University. He started his career working with leading London interior design practices before launching Godrich Interiors.

Over his 20-year career, Ed has created distinctive and highly original interiors for private and commercial clients across the globe, including projects in the UK, Venice, Sardinia and the Caribbean.

When not at Godrich HQ, Ed is still finding ways to investigate, design and create. He spends his free time at his studio in Shropshire creating large-scale one-off 3D diorama artworks, which are often snapped up by clients.

  • Rupert Hunt, Finance Director

    Rupert Hunt, Finance Director

Rupert studied Management at Leeds University, which led to a career in the City. Specialising in Corporate Finance, he worked with large multinationals, living both in London and Hong Kong.

Rupert's earlier career in banking gives him a unique position to ensure that Godrich Interiors’ projects are carefully managed, and to provide clients with expert financial clarity.

Rupert completed a major restoration project of his own in South Shropshire, also his home county. He has spent several years painstakingly renovating an Elizabethan, timber-framed farmhouse using traditional crafts and materials, and is now happily enjoying the fruits of his labour with his growing brood.

  • Megan Oliver, Associate Director

    Megan Oliver, Associate Director

Megan has been an integral part of the team since 2009, directing tasks from planning, design and project management to close coordination with Creative Director Ed Godrich.

With over 15 years of experience in interior design and architecture, Megan is originally from New Zealand and holds a degree in Interior Architecture from Victoria University, Wellington.

Megan is an avid traveller, and relishes the opportunities to work on international projects and historic buildings. One standout experience was working on an ancient grand palazzo in Venice, not least for the logistics of transferring valuable antiques through the city’s canals.

In her free time Megan can be found in the yoga studio, on her bike or finding new inspiration by exploring listed buildings or art galleries.

  • The team at Godrich combines many years of experience in the interiors industry with stringent financial management. Having now completed many hundreds of projects throughout the world, our team of designers and project co-ordinators have the skill to develop property at the very top end, with confidence.
